Follow up: 4 steps to boost your network marketing

Four follow up actions you can apply now to change your next 30 days

Have you ever struggled with customer sales? I don't mean like you can't make any sales. But...is your follow up so bad that you are not making enough sales?

I am talking about when the months end is getting close you have not made another rank in your company.

Or your sales are not where they were the last month.

Maybe you have a certain money goal you are shooting for each month and so in the last 5-7 days you really push hard.

You are making phone calls, sending out emails and creating ads trying to advance or to help your up-line advance. You are pushing, pushing, pushing...

face-to face, Facebook, tweeting, Texting  or whatever way is your media of sales.

Thirty-nine year network marketing expert Gloria MacDonald says... Stop doing that!

"Just stop doing it!"

Just stop it! Stop pushing at the end of the month with emails, phone calls creating ads...

This is a great tip before you even get to the 4 steps that we are going to talk about. This type of boosting sales is NOT a sustainable practice.

It will make you overly tired.

Your down line will get tired.

Your customers will get tired.

You will start to come across as being desperate instead of actually caring about your people, customers or team members.

Just stop doing it!

Your Main Key: Follow Up!

Follow up with your customers every month.

Some think they can and want to use only automation. And automation is a great thing and is useful in many places.  It should be used in many places to be able to scale your business.

Here is the thing... people like to be with people.  We are designed to feel, touch, taste, smell, hear, and see... and we like to have all these things with people.

So in some way these things need to happen and not all of them at one time. Even though that could be a good thing.

Here is how you do this.

Step One follow up

Make a list of every customer that ever bought anything from you.

And you are going to, here we go with list making again.

Understand this list is people who buy things from you.  And you want them to buy more.  Make the list.

Step Two follow up

Divide that list in to four equal groups. Put a group in one of the four weeks every month.

Step Three follow up

Now take each group and assign it to a week in the month. Follow up with each group in the corresponding week.

What is follow up?

Follow up is not a company newsletter.  Do not send them a company newsletter.

Follow up is ...

...a phone call

...a text message

...a personalized email -- "Personalized"

...get them on a Zoom, Skype, or messenger video chat

follow up

When you make contact say to them, "I am about to order is there anything they need?"

This is a big, big, big help because most customers do not know the back office.  It is a pain in the butt!  Try to find where to change your credit card sometime.

For you to help them... they will buy !

Order it for them right there while you have them on the call.

Ask them questions that you might help with

Tell them about specials.

Tell them about new products.

Remind them that it has been X amount of months since they have purchased toothpaste, cologne, hair spray, protein shake, etc.

Say... _(Name) Betty , I know you like ABC product but you might like XYZ product also, would you like to give it a try ?

Help your customer and your sales will rise, your customer retention will rise, you will rank advance.

Step Four Follow up.

Simple ... teach your team members to do the same. This is where some automation can help out - create a video, blog post, PDF file, anything that you can direct them to  for training.

This will save you time to follow up with your customers.

To follow up with a recap

Put it in your calendar to follow up.

Write down everybody that is a customer.

Divide them in to four groups one group a week

get in contact with them every week

teach your team to do the same.

To your success
