Do You Wake Up With An Alarm Clock or With an Opportunity Clock? - Baxter Cribbs

Do You Wake Up With An Alarm Clock or With an Opportunity Clock?

Does Your “Purpose In Life" Wake You Up With an Alarm Clock or with an Opportunity Clock?

Your purpose in life will show you if you have an alarm clock or an opportunity clock.

Alarm - Alarm!

Do you wake up to an alarm clock or an opportunity clock?

Here is how you will know.  When you wake up in the mornings is it because a strange blaring noise put you into an alarmed state so that you sat up to fix the noise and then lay back down?

Or, did you wake up and say,  "it is another great day"   Yeah! I get to do so and so. I get to write another blog,  create a capture page ,  talk to new people"  etc.

The reason many are alarmed when they wake up is because they have no purpose to go after.  they don't have a reason to wake up.

A reason to get of bed is a driving force that help you to be persistent in life so that you can get some thing done .

Persistence is really what we are trying to develop, so you must have a purpose or what are you being persistent about.

What Is a Purpose?

A purpose is the soldier with metal legs and feet looking at the other end of the parallel bars and saying, "I will walk again to help my family."

A purpose is a mother that says, "I will not work until my children have all graduated from school and have a good start in their college education."

A purpose is , "I am going to become a professional coach for marketing to help others take control of their life."

What  is your purpose?  whatever it is - it must be clear.  Here is a thought process from Joshua Boswell.  He says if you are the captain of a ship you have the ability to go to any port in the world.  But you can only go to one at a time.  Which one will you go to.  Clarity is needed.

This may require some thought.  More for some less for others.   Try this on for thought, a question to ask your self is ... Who do I want to be?

Or it could be, How do I want to be known by my peers, family, and friends, or even by the public I want to serve ?

I don't know who said this first but several experts recommend you ask yourself this question... What one thing would I dare to do if i knew I would not fail?

Choose a clear purpose to better develop your persistence

It doesn't matter what field of work you are in, to stay with that and succeed, you must have a clear purpose in mine so that every thing works around that purpose.

In my next post we will discuss desire as the next characteristic to add to promote persistence in your life.

In the meantime ... if your purpose is to take control of your financial future so you can have security for your family and yourself I can show you a fantastic system.  Tried and proven to work -- click here to have a look.  You will be glad you did.

  • Baxter, I couldn’t agree with you more. I think that question of asking “what’s the one thing I would dare to do if I knew I wouldn’t fail” has allowed me to do so many things in the last two years that I just never “dared” of doing before.

    Purpose is so key!

    thanks for this great article!
