“How You can use Self-Reliance to Power Your Success”

Are you using your Power of Self-reliance?

Stop and Listen to what is said around you.  If you will do this you will hear people say,

  • He would not help me …
  • They would not do this …
  • Nobody is doing their job …
  • I can't move ahead because …

and it might even be YOU saying these things.  When this is happening, you are depending on others for your success instead of relying on your self to accomplish what is necessary for YOU to move forward.

What is this self-reliance any way?

A Belief in ones Self to be able to do what you desire to do

In its short definition, it is the belief in your ability to carry out a plan that you have put together to accomplish a great goal.

Whatever that goal may be, big or little, a small step in a big plan, it is you saying, “I can do this!”

How can it be  used to achieve success or any goal?

“I am Responsible!” The more responsibility you take on yourself the more you are in control.  -I am Responsible-

The more responsibility you take on yourself the more you are relying on yourself — (self-reliance).

This is a growing process.  So, it would make sense to ask the question then  how can I develop this self-reliance?

Like most things about the human mind this self-reliance can be developed.  With just a little bit of work on our part we can strengthen this belief in our self to do what ever we want to do.

What steps are involved?

Step One — Make up your mind what you want!  In this case we are talking about s-Make Up Your Mind-elf-reliance — I have found that this is usually the most difficult thing to do about anything — “make up your mind”

Write this out clearly – the subconscious likes clarity – a definite target to go to –  guided missile technology requires a specific target.

Step two — Find time morning and night to sit and repeat this statement to yourself adding emotion to the thought (with the words as if you are trying to convince another person).

Read it a loud so you can hear yourself – this completes a language loop (verbal, visual, audio) — what ever you say to yourself with emotions becomes fact.

Step Three —  Write out your statement of action or belief and place copies of it where you will see it every morning and every night.  Read it aloud every morning and every night. Read it until it becomes memorized. Then, repeat it until it becomes a permanent automatic process in your life.

How will I know when I get it right?

When the first thought is — I am responsible.  I can do this.

This is not to say you will do everything by yourself.  You can not and we do not live in a vacuum.  It is to say, “I will find like-minded people and the right environment to accomplish my goals.”

Now go to work

Search out how this can apply this to your life or business.  Take responsibility —  no one will watch after you like you.
